Smackdown 2: Google Slides
This is my Smackdown video about Google Slides:
I created a video demonstration on how to utilize google slides when creating a project. I utilize google slides both in my academic and personal life, especially for school projects. Through the many digital design courses I have taken, I have found that the hidden design features of this platform are almost at par with the likes of adobe illustrator and photoshop. My favorite part of google slides is the image search and object editing, that allows you to present topics with imagery and easy effects.
For my future career of Digital Marketing, I will most likely utilize google slides to present my clientele with their marketing/ad drafts and write ups, or even design overviews. I am currently in System Analysis, and working as a pre-professional data analyst, I was tasked recently with creating a google slide to give an overview of the Tech company we are creating a system for. I also have seen my district managers at the pet store I work at, utilize google slides to display new marketing during corporate meetings, having to navigate the app on their own accord (they have asked me for help before). Overall, whether you are pitching an idea or storyboarding a history lesson, Google Slides is your top editor to use.

Google Slides has been my ride or die for all presentations. It has such a simple and understandable layout while still giving us the tools to make everything aesthetically pleasing. Even if you don't like one of the provided templates, there are plenty of free ones online that you can download and transfer for free. Many people may think the site is childish and unrefined, but if you know how to use it and add transitions and such it is incredible.
