This is my Smackdown video about Google Slides:     I created a video demonstration on how to utilize google slides when creating a project. I utilize google slides both in my academic and personal life, especially for school projects. My favorite part of google slides is the image search and object editing, that allows you to present topics with imagery and easy effects.           For my future career of Digital Marketing, I will most likely utilize google slides to present my clientele with their marketing/ad drafts and write ups, or even design overviews. I am currently in System Analysis, and working as a pre-professional data analyst, I was tasked recently with creating a google slide to give an overview of the Tech company we are creating a system for. Smackdown 1: handshake

By: Ari C App review video below          Handshake is a student-centered career networking app that allows you to connect with like-minded peers in both the education and careers field. An organized algorithm curates a feed for you to view career updates from your specific institution, favored organizations, or even peers around the country. Similar to LinkedIn and Indeed, Handshake is an applicant friendly app, and includes a listing page in which you can save job listings from key employers and apply with an online resume through the app. Employers can then use your platform (profile and postings) to view your professional and education achievements and connections, expanding your network.            This app is  tailored for the needs of both pre- and post grads, as it connects student-learners with employers and internships looking for starting-level associates. As a Senior at Stockton, I am joining the ranks o...

Image
By: Ari C         The Connected Educator tells us that "personal learning networks help you leverage deeper  connections and relationships, and from those networked relationships, you grow a community of connected learners and leaders"(p.92). Community is a key aspect of a healthy career, and interests me in regards to a future career within the digital marketing landscape. A great way to build a career-centered community network, from home, is through social media.      via Socinator           I currently prefer to utilize the social media X. This is a networking platform that hosts communities of all types and careers, even politicians.   The Connected Educator  highlights that following "bloggers" of similar interests and career types, is beneficial to curating a network of commonplace. Modern day X (aka twitter) utilize...
